SteamLess Proton
A downloadable tool for Linux
SteamLess is a GUI application for Linux that lets you run Windows executables — games, launchers, and apps — using Proton, without needing Steam.
Add any .exe, configure it, and run it. SteamLess handles everything automatically: setting up isolated Proton prefixes, managing GE-Proton, and creating desktop shortcuts for your apps.
What you can run: Epic, Battle.net, GOG, EA launchers, standalone games, legacy apps, heavily modded game stacks — anything that runs on Windows runs here. If it doesn't, someone was paid to make sure it doesn't.
Note: SteamLess is currently being replaced by a complete C++/Qt6 rewrite which is finished and currently undergoing final testing before release. If you've purchased the previous versions you'll receive the re-write free when it publishes.
